This open chassis "L" style steel wet sump is for Dart spread rail Aluminum, Iron, 2 and 4 bolt chevy engine blocks. It is designed for chassis without x-members under the engine (asphalt and dirt modifieds, sprint cars, and some late models). It has an 11-1/2" wide, 16" long, 7-1/4" deep “L” sump with a 9 quart system capacity. The pan features six trap door baffles, directional oil runners, a bolt in slosh baffle, and a screened windage tray. It also includes a provison for our pan mounted dipstick, a temperature fitting and a magnetic drain plug. Requires use of one of our pickups and an offset aftermarket starter with a 153 or 168 tooth flywheel.
