The Whipple Stage 3 system boasts even more power than stage 2 system by coupling a Stage 3 performance calibration with a Whipple high-flow flame arrestor element. The Whipple high-flow flame arrestor replaces the stock paper gauze style arrestor with a stainless steel mesh arrestor for increased airflow. This system helps boost the engines output by more than 170HP* and 140 pounds of torque*. Whipple also increases the low rpm power range for significant decrease in plane time and a healthy gain in acceleration. The factory rpm limiter is also increased, giving customers the ability to greatly increase top speed MPH while running original props.
