This kit is required when installing the MMBAK-10 Manual Brake Pedal Kit on a 1987-1993 Mustang, retaining the stock 1987-93 Mustang master cylinder. The MMBAK-5.1 kit allows the master cylinder to be positioned further rearwards while retaining the vehicle’s stock brake line routing.

The Maximum Motorsports stainless steel brake caliper sleeves replace the factory rubber bushings. The rubber bushings let the calipers move during braking, preventing the pad from contacting the rotor surface squarely. This movement reduces your brakes' effectiveness and leads to tapered pad wear. These caliper sleeves also fit the 73mm SVO calipers sold with our SVO kit.

Use this adapter kit to install the 93 Cobra or 94-95 GT master cylinder on your 1987-93 Mustang. This adapts your new 2 port master cylinder configuration to fit your chassis line fittings originally intended for a 3 port master cylinder.

This beautiful machined aluminum adjuster, allows the use of our universal clutch cable and aluminum clutch cable quadrant so you can adjust your clutch cable tension easily from under the hood. Aftermarket cables are much lower quality, and require the stock plastic adjustment mechanism or can be adjusted down at the transmission clutch fork. Our adjusters are easily adjusted from where the cable passes through the firewall near the brake master cylinder. Our adjuster has more adjustable length than many other adjusters making it best suited to all the year ranges of Mustangs. We found that 1994-95 Mustang stock cables required more adjustment than earlier or later clutch cables. It works with all stock clutch cables or with most aftermarket cables (although we don't recommend or sell them due to poor quality).

Maximum Motorsports raises the bar by manufacturing a clutch quadrant to replace the brittle plastic factory quadrant. The strong, yet lightweight (only 4.4 oz.) CNC aluminum quadrant was our engineering department's answer to the shortcomings of all other clutch quadrants. It allows the use of a durable stock style cable, not requiring an adjustable cable. A firewall adjuster is required.

This kit is required when installing a 1993 Cobra or 1994 GT master cylinder with the MMBAK-10 Manual Brake Pedal Kit on a 1987-1993 Mustang. The MMBAK-3.1 kit allows the master cylinder to be positioned further rearwards while retaining the vehicle’s stock brake line routing.

This adapter kit is required when installing a 1994-95 Cobra Mustang master cylinder into a 1987-93 Mustang. The MMBAK-8 uses only high pressure rated fittings and lines that are designed for use in automotive brake systems. No cutting or flaring of brake lines is needed with this kit.

The MMBAK-8 kit allows installing a 1994-95 Cobra Mustang master cylinder in a 1987-93 Mustang with either the stock location proportioning valve, or with the MMBAK-6 Proportioning Valve Eliminator Kit. It provides brake lines (with the proper fittings on each end) that fit the master cylinder while retaining the rest of the vehicle's stock brake line routing.

Master Cylinder Brake Line Adapter Kit for MM Manual Brake Conversion

Includes the brake hard lines and adapter fittings to install the MM Manual Brake Conversion Kit MMBAK-10 in a 1987-93 5.0L Mustang. The MM Manual Brake Conversion Kit relocates the brake master cylinder to a position 6.5" closer to the firewall because the power booster is eliminated. This new position requires changes to the brake hard lines. This adapter kit helps installation of the 1994-95 Cobra master cylinder. Fits both the stock brake proportioning valve/junction block, as well as the MM Proportioning Valve/Distribution Block Eliminator Kit MMBAK-6. Includes the 3-port to 2-port conversion required to install the 1994-95 master cylinder in a 1987-93 chassis.

Fine-tune your brake system by adjusting the line pressure to your rear brakes for the optimum brake balance. The valve comes with the correct adapters. Very easy installation! When installing an adjustable proportioning valve, MMBAK-6 is the kit required to modify your stock valve. This kit is intended for off-highway application only.
